You sit down to figure it out. And suddenly you need to decide what mic to buy, what software to use, how recording even works, where to host it, what to put in the show notes…
And then you close your laptop and tell yourself you’ll sort it out next week.
And then next week comes. And nothing happens. Again.
The longer this sits on your to-do list, the more overwhelming it feels — and the more you start wondering if you’re just not actually meant to have a podcast.
Lemme tell ya: You are.
You know your audience needs wants to hear from you. You know showing up with your voice and your energy matters for your brand. And a podcast feels like the exact right way to do it.
Just in case ya need them and want to look back on anything (likely the tech tutorials), the recordings of both calls will be sent your way.
Send your first episode over to Franco and he'll give you feedback on it, so you're confident it sounds boom before it goes live.
Got a q or two (or five??) after we wrap? You've got our support for a week after your pod manual is delivered.
A Google doc that contains notes, reminders, links, breakdowns, and allll the things you need to launch and run your pod. We don't expect you to remember everything from your two calls — we got you.
A full breakdown of the pod manual is below!
Franco will help you decide what software you need, get you signed up to them, and then show you exactly how to navigate them so it's easy peasy when you go off on your own.
This includes your recording software, editing software, podcast hosting platform, and even the use of Claude if you're unfamiliar with the dude.
You'll record a short audio file, and then Franco will walk you through exactly how to edit it. He'll share all his best tips and tricks that will make your editing as quick and painless as possible.
Let's make sure that, before you record a single word, your mic sounds great so that you have the least amount of work to do when it's time to edit.
Jess interviews you and pulls all the goodness out of your brain so we can get crystal clear on what to say, WHY you're saying it, and who you're talkin' to. Ya know, the super important reasons your people will tune in episode after episode.
Jess will pick 5 episode topics for you (either record them right away, or keep 'em in your back pocket for when you need 'em,) and help you decide which CTA to put in your outro and show notes.
Everything you need for your podcast will live in this manual.
From your Master To-Do List Tab that makes sure you've crossed every 't' and dotted every 'i'...
...to your Messaging + Episode Topics tab that breaks down your podcast tone, key messages, what to avoid, podcast theme ideas, and your 5 hand-picked episode topics...
...to your Launch Guidance and Distribution Plan tabs showing you how to get your pod out into the world and spread your message...
...to your Tech Stack tab that houses allllll the decisions & tutorials from what you and Franco decided was best for you, your pod, and your business...
...to the prompts that will make you life a whole heck of a lot easier...
"I'm definitely in an industry where people need to hear me talk and build trust and get to know my personality, and a podcast is a really great vehicle for that. I could just talk about the stuff I know how to talk about and have all the work done for me on the back end! The peace of mind knowing it was done correctly is *chef's kiss*.”
"Jess and Franco are going to take you from waiting and dragging your feet on something that you've been really wanting to do and just get it done within a month. I was just so excited to get it out into the world because I do feel like it is going to help so much with people getting to know me. It's going to be a very good passive form of marketing and sales with work that I did once.”
"If you like the idea of having a podcast but don't want to always be creating content for it (and want to cry thinking about all the planning and tech that it would involve), Binge-Worthy is the ultimate solution. Their team is so great to work with and their process is smooth. You'll end up with a very professional podcast while having all the audio, editing, and strategy taken off your plate. You'll have this cool authority-boosting resource (that defies social media ick) and probably discover a thing or two about yourself along the way. Win-win-win."
